Sales Intern or Technical Sales Engineering Intern - US - Remote location

Sound Intelligence' US entity in Chicago, Illinois and is looking to grow the US team with a Sales Intern and Sales Engineering Intern that can be located anywhere in the US. These roles will help us in achieving our ambitious growth plans, by supporting the territories’ Sales Managers, our customers and partners.

What you’ll do here …

Sales Intern:

  • Work with our Sales team in continually promoting and educating integrators, consultants and end users to benefit the use of Sound Intelligence technology and solutions
  • Maintain enthusiastic and dedicated relations with prospects and current customers
  • Arrange and execute site visits to conduct product demonstrations, presentations, lunch and learns and speaking seminars
  • May participate in trade shows, seminars, Webinars and other promotional sales activities
  • Participate in educational events and consistently be aware of industry news

Technical Sales Engineer Intern:

  • Work with the team to provide the highest quality technical pre- and post-sales engineering
  • Help to provide support for Sound Intelligence products to end-customers and partners
  • Contribute to and prepare technical sales support materials
  • Coordinate on-site proof of concept and trial installations
  • May present training seminars on-site and through webinars
  • Ensure Customer Cases are documented thoroughly

What You’ll Need …

  • Bachelor’s degree in process, ideally in Marketing or Business
  • Eagerness to learn and curious by nature
  • Technical aptitude
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office applications

Technical Sales Engineer Intern:

  • Aptitude to learn technical service and support
  • Professional and friendly phone etiquette with excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Trustworthy, persistent, professional, and dedicated
  • Responsible, independent, self-driven
  • Resourceful and flexible with solid listening skills
  • Ability to prioritize and respond to a sense of urgency

What You’ll Need …

  • Bachelor’s degree in process in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Networking Engineering, Information Systems or similar
  • Technical aptitude
  • Eagerness to learn and curious by nature
  • Detail oriented troubleshooting skills
