Online Marketing Intern

Sound Intelligence' US entity in Chicago, IL and is looking to grow the US team with a Online Marketing Intern in the Chicago area. This role will be crucial in achieving our ambitious growth plans, by supporting our marketing & PR initiatives.

Based on continuous R&D investments, our AI technology can accurately detect e.g. aggression in people’s voices, gunshots and breaking glass, as well as stressed voices, coughing or medical device alarm tones in patient or resident rooms in long term care. What you’ll do here

  • Creating and filling the content calendar for our social channels
  • Posting content on our social channels
  • Monitoring and responding to engagement
  • Supporting with SEO & SEA initiatives
  • Writing articles, conducting customer interviews, managing the website and its content, creating customer profiles for marketing and PR purposes (podcasts are an option!)
  • Generating press releases and sharing them with relevant media outlets
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills and Experience You’ll Need

  • Junior or senior majoring in marketing communications degree
  • Exceptional communication skills including detailed follow-through and professionalism in written, speaking, telephone and email communications
  • Graphic design skills to create social media posts, use stock photos or create graphics to support marketing message
  • Video editing skills for customer testimonials and product demos
  • Solid writing skills especially articles, customer interviews, website and social media content
  • Problem-solver, analytical, flexible, organized, great communicator and listener, willing to pitch in with the team to get done what needs to get done and do it well
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and have a positive mental attitude
  • Convictions to the principals of honesty, dependability, responsibility/ownership, and a motivated self-starter

Location, Travel and Physical demands

  • Based in the greater Chicago, IL area (commutable to our Chicago and Northfield offices)
  • Physical Demands: Employee is occasionally required to lift 20-50 lbs.
